The workshop production of "Nefertiti: A concert of Music and Dance" premiered at the Athenaeum Theater in Chicago in November 2007. This collaboration with composer David Spangler and librettist Rick Gore, brother of Christopher Gore, the writer of the original movie "Fame", was based on the original 1977 creation.
